I don’t know if this helps your decision or not, but my boyfriend originally had that Samsung D820, but after a day he traded it in for something else. It felt really flimsy and he didn’t like the buttons or how you can’t just press a button on the side to put the phone on vibrate.

I have the Samsung D820, and it’s worked really well for me. By the way, you can mute it by pressing the button on the side, and you can set it to vibrate by holding down the # key. And the sliding mechanism took a bit to get used to, but I have no complaints! I say get the Samsung D820! (Disclaimer: Don’t blame me if you don’t like it! lol :P)

Gahh, I’m so jealous of your new phone! My phone is so old school, I’ve been wanting a sidekick3 now for ages. I can’t get it till April though when my plan expires .
But wanting more workload to me doesn’t seem at all weird, it helps keep me busy and focused. It also keeps my mind of things that I want to keep off. So, I think it’s perfectly normal
