It’s been more than a week that the maid who worked at this house ran away with her lover 
Before this, I only heard from friends and relatives about maids running away, and now it happened to my family 
Everything was fine… until she met this boyfriend of her. Her attitude has changed a lot and she’s been weird since then 
She’s on phone with him for like… most of the time. Her quality of work has been bad too 
But all we did were just be patient with her 
I heard a lot of time that she whined how she wanted to wed her boyfriend asap and all. But I never thought she’s that desperate Because she ran away leaving behind her salary (RM 2000+ 
), passport and visa behind! 
I guess love can make you blind, huh? …or stupid maybe?
I also think it’s really irresponsible to walk away just like that. It’s quite frustrating thinking how much we trusted her 
I used to love her dearly like my own older sister. But now she’s gone, the way she left, I think she’s not worth a tear or a thought anymore

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of runaway-maids story before.
Back when I had a maid and was still living in Malaysia, she was really really nice to all of us. Her name was Taruni. I still remember her. She was the only maid I ever had in my life, and was the best. She did everything to perfection, really listened to everything we said, comforted me and my brother. Pristine attitude…I think I cried when she left. It seems she wanted to give me and my brother a goodbye hug and kiss but it was so early in the morning that I didn’t know.
Sorry about your maid but at least she didn’t run away with the money either?

HAH! My pakcik sent off his maids (yes. he got a lot of them since he owns a restaurant) because he was sick of other people sending them (the maids) messages like “we can give you more money,” or “we love you” bla bla. it’s their loss. dorang tak dpt gaji full, haha.

No offence, but the way you’re making it sound like is as if she belonged to you. I’m guessing that she was tired of being a maid and wanted a real life, a life with a husband. It isn’t good to judge people, no matter how much or how long you’ve known them for.
