If you’re an FTP Commander user, you’ll notice there is no proper function to CHMOD.
But no worries, you can still CHMOD your files/directories… only it needs a little
typing effort
- Go to FTP – Server, then Custom Command
- It will make the following menu appear at the lower-right of the program;
- To CHMOD, you will need to type in the input box;
chmod ### filename/directoryname
- For example, if I want to CHMOD the file “newfile.php” to 766, I must type in the input box;
chmod 766 newfile.php
- And another example, if I want to CHMOD the directory “images” to 777, I must type in the input box;
chmod 777 images
