Sick and tired of stupid spams all over your blogs’ comments? There are a few ways to avoid them. You can never get rid of them ALL for good sake, but at least it works 95%. I practive these ways, and they do work… thankfully
You can either…
One
Upload and install anti-spam plugins for your wordpress. Click here to go and pick the spam filters of your choice. I would suggest using more than 1 filters, because they will work much better than if you’re just using 1 pugin.
or, Two

Usually, spammers will target old posts. They seldom spam your latest blog. So, you can disable accepting comments on your old posts. Well, I don’t know if there’s any easy way to do this, but I manually go through all my old posts, and check off the ‘allow comments‘ option. It may takes some time, but it’s worth it, trust me.
or, Three
Go to Options > Discussion > Comment Moderation, in your Wordpress Admin page. You can try and put 3 for ‘Hold a comment in the queue if it contains more than __ links‘ option. This action will filter and won’t display on your site, any comments that contains more than 3 URLs in the comments field. (…which what most of spammers do, when they post spams on blogs’ comments). Under this option, there are a also few more comments controls, you can try and explore through them.
Or the best way – practice all. Install plugin + disable old posts’ comments + comments moderation.
