Here’s the easy step of installing the WorePress Blog for your website;

First, make sure you have already create a database dor the blog with proper username and password. That’s because, you will need to supply WordPress with your database name, username and password. If you’re having problems with this, just contact and get your host to fo this for you.

 

Unzip the WordPress package that you downloaded.

 

Open up wp-config-sample.php in your text editor. All you have to do here is to fill in your database details. But note that you’ll have to save and rename the file to wp-config.php. (Click here for more info about configuring the wp-config.php file)

 

After that, you will have to upload all the files (that you unzipped earlier together with the new configured wp-config.php) to your website folder where you want your blog to be hosted.

 

Run the installation file by opening the http://YOUR-SITE-URL/wp-admin/install.php file on your browser.

 

Well that’s all! After the installation is completed, you will be given a login username and a random password. But please note that this password is randomly generated, so be sure you’ll write it down, just in case. Because if you lost it, you will have no other choice but to install the blog all over again.
